SAITO modular silencer: installable on different applications!
The modular silencer has the peculiar characteristic that the dual-stage end can be easily removed, allowing it to operate as a free drain. This model can be easily installed instead of the final silencer of a large number of cars.
Something more to know for those who are interested in technique in addition to power.
The thrust bearing of the original Garrett T25 is of the 280 ° open type, the Achilles heel of the turbo if high turbocharging pressures and therefore high axial forces are to be achieved. The Mitsubishi turbines used for the SR175, SR175TS and SR190 kits are instead all equipped as standard with a 360 ° thrust bearing capable of homogeneously supporting very high axial thrusts. As everyone now knows it is our philosophy never to intervene on the coreassy or on the central part of the turbo in order not to lose, during the modification, the original balancing set by the house (in our opinion not restorable with the normal balancers on the market). By operating in this way we have been able to achieve exceptional results in terms of reliability on all our upgrade kits and we firmly believe it was a winning choice!
